Range Safety Course

The Range Safety Course is an intense forty (40) hours of instruction. The course teaches range Operations, Safety and Geographic Information System (GIS) personnel how to construct(plot) range surface danger zones (SDZs) for all types of ranges using the latest in automated teching techniques and equipment. Students are required to complete graded practical exercises using the correct preparation procedures for SDZs and attend study halls to complete coursework not completed to standard during the primary instructional periods.

Our Range Safety Course deals extensively in risk management techniques and the "how to's" of conducting site selection for new range development/construction.
Use of automated SDZ construction tools is also part of the course curriculum.
